FREIGHT AGENT of IBDC:

  1. provides services on loading trucks of transportation companies and owner-operators;

  2. offers services both for power only and trucks: dry vans, reefers, step-decks, flat-bed, sprinters;

  3. enters into dispatch services agreement with Carrier;

  4. acts on behalf of carriers-partners;

  5. is assigned 4-8 trucks;

  6. agrees the best possible rates with brokers and prepares documents on behalf of the carrier;

  7. supports the carrier on the route 24/7;

  8. invoices shippers on carriers-partners behalf;

  9. invoices the Carrier for all the commission on the loads provided within agreed route;

  10. can reserve a trailer for you in 3-5-7 days.

 

REQUIRED INFORMATION FROM EACH CARRIER:

  • Carrier's operating authority (MC# and DOT #)

  • Signed W-9 form;

  • Driver License and Truck’s Cab Card;

  • Carrier's operating authority (including any re-entitlements)

  • Must List Reefer Breakdown Coverage and/or Exclusions for any Refrigerated Loads;

  • Must List Workers Compensation Policy with Limits According to State Requirements.

 

PROOF OF INSURANCE COVERAGE WITH REQUIRED COVERAGE LIMITS:

  • Minimum of $1 Million Auto Liability Policy with Current Effective Dates;

  • Minimum of $100,000 Motor Cargo Policy with Current Effective Dates.

  • Agents request Certificate of Insurance (COI with BROKER and/or Customer as certificate holder) directly from Insurance agent, so that we are sure the insurance is safe and good to go.

 

CARRIER SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER

 Confirmations (photo and geolocation) from each point of loading and unloading are a must.
